Yin Yoga combines the Eastern yogic science with the Daoist principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Yin Yoga works on the the connective tissues. The principle of this style of yoga is to stress the tissue so the body will respond by strengthening it. Different poses stimulate and remove blockages in the myofascial meridians in the body. Yin yoga poses are gentle, static stretches that help soften and relax muscles that are constricted, gripping and feeling stuck. It also promotes the flow of nutrients and energy through the body.
Class is infused with gong vibration for an additional layer of purification, balancing and healing.
