Join Jennifer of Cannakula January 6th at 11:11a for a morning of stress relief and healing at Curaleaf Midtown Wellness Center.
We start with Yin Yoga, long, slow stretching intended to open up joints and connective tissues. Learn how to cultivate internal focus, and meditative breathing, while the physical body opens and allows energy to be unblocked. We finish with the practice of Yoga Nidra, or "Yogic Sleep" to assist in moving through what no longer serves you.
I AM Yoga Nidra™, is an ancient sleep-based meditation technique that has the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body and being is permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness. It unlocks the mystical, integrative powers of the subconscious, as well as your higher centers of consciousness, to effortlessly erase your most tenacious, self-destructive habits and behavior patterns. It is said by yogis that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is as restorative as three hours of sleep.
Class begins at 11:11 am, check-in begins at 10:45am. Keep in mind that you will be on the floor for an extended period of time, please be mindful to bring the things you need to make yourself supremely comfortable in meditation. Please do bring a yoga mat, along with a pillow, a blanket and something to cover your eyes, such as an eye pillow.
